Things have been so busy I haven’t even been able to share more babymoon highlights with you guys! Since yesterday was a pretty boring day over here and not too many pics were snapped or anything exciting eat wise, I figured today would be a good day to share more babymoon DC!
On that Sunday we went to Tysons Corner mall for some birthday shopping and lunch. There were some good choices to eat at in the mall, we ended up deciding on Gordon Biersch, which had lots of good options and beer of course! Haha!
We are not beer drinkers
I got a salad they were featuring….
The superfood salad! I added chicken to it too, it was good!
Then after lunch we shopped, Tysons Corner is the best mall ever, it has every store you can imagine!
And Pinkberry!
We had a fun and long day there!
Later that night we headed to Kingstown, which is a little area in Virginia we used to love going to for thai, indian, or sushi!
We chose to go to one of our favorite sushi spot there, they offer more than sushi so I was ok with getting other stuff too. Was really fun going back to where we used to be, brought back lots of memories from when we lived there.
East Moon Asian Bistro!
I got a shrimp dish that was delicious!
Seaweed salad!
We did get to split a roll since it was cooked! We got a tempura shrimp roll with kiwi, it was AMAZING!
Mike got a chicken dish that he loved!
All the food is awesome there! I am glad we got to go back and visit that place again!
Monday which was my birthday, started out with breakfast in bed complete with candles and cards! My husband is really the sweetest!
Was a wonderful way to start my birthday morning!
The night ahead we had plans to do dinner, at first we were going to go to Blue Duck Tavern, but then we changed our minds last minute and decided on a new place that we found that sounded awesome! Blue Duck is my favorite, but we just were not in the mood for fine dining when it came to the time, so we went with another place!
Birthday Bump Shot!
We headed to Sweet Water Tavern!
I am really happy Mike found this place and gosh there were so many great menu options, so I had no hard time picking something yummy to eat!
We started with chips, guacamole, and a cheese dip! Was soooooooooooo good!
I asked for a fun non alcoholic fruity drink to celebrate my birthday and the waiter had a yummy drink made! It was a mojito style with no alcohol, was so good!
For dinner Mike went with some meat! He loves his meat!
I got a delicious salad with chicken, sunflower seeds, dates, goat cheese was in there, and some other stuff!
I know a salad seems so boring, but it is what I wanted and it was good!
Plus I had to save room for birthday dessert, which happened after….
Sweet Frog froyo!
I do not mess around when it comes to froyo!
I got birthday cake, cookies and cream, and mint! Weird combo but it worked and I was happy!
My birthday was awesome, just spending time with Mike and being away was the best part. We had a wonderful time in the DC area, I am still thinking of how nice the little getaway was for us, soon our family will be growing and it will not be so easy to get away just us until baby g is bigger. We are ok with that, we are so excited!!
I am off to eat breakfast and to figure out the plan for the day, I think its a return baby shower gift doubles kind of day and errands that need to be done besides that!
Hope you enjoyed the last of the babymoon recap, I enjoyed sharing it with all of you!
See you later with Diva Approved!

Healthy Diva Asks….
- What do you love more, the froyo or the toppings? I love both, BUT I go to town on the toppings as you can see, haha!
- On your birthday, do you feel candles are a must to have to blow out? Every birthday I have to have a candle to blow out to make a wish, something that is important to me. You can stick a candle in oatmeal, I don’t care, just want that birthday candle and always will no matter how old I get!
